Cursusbeschrijving

Deze System Center 2012 cursus gaat in op de planning en implementatie van een hiërarchie binnen System Center 2012 Configuration Manager (SCCM), inclusief een centrale administratielocatie (‘central administration site’ of CAS), een of meerdere primaire en secundaire locaties en alle gekoppelde systemen. Deze cursus gaat ook in op de migratie vanuit System Center Configuration Manager 2007.

  • Systeemtechnici die een implementatie van Microsoft System Center 2012 Configuration Manager moeten inplannen. Zij hebben drie tot vijf jaar ervaring met het ondersteunen van meerdere desktop- en servercomputers die draaien op Microsoft Windows, in middelgrote tot grote bedrijven.
  • Configuration Manager-beheerders die verantwoordelijk zijn voor het ontwerpen en implementeren van een of meerdere locaties waarop System Center 2012 Configuration Manager is geïnstalleerd en van alle ondersteunende systemen. Zij hebben drie tot vijf jaar ervaring met de ondersteuning van meerdere desktop- en servercomputers die draaien op Microsoft Windows Server, in middelgrote tot grote bedrijven.

Module 1: Overview of Microsoft System Center 2012 Configuration Manager

This module describes the Configuration Manager 2012 infrastructure and typical deployment scenarios.

After completing this module, students will be able to:

  • Describe typical implementation scenarios. Also describe recommended site architectures and site roles.
  • Describe the site roles for the Configuration Manager 2012 infrastructure.
  • Describe the Configuration Manager 2012 client architecture and functionality.

Module 2: Planning and Deploying a Single-Site Architecture

This module explainsthe planning process, inputs, and typical planning activities for deploying a stand-alone primary site. It also describesthe prerequisites for installing a site server and related components, the process of installing, validatingand configuring a stand-alone primary site, and describes the requirements for managing Internet-based clients.
