This training is designed for participants who want to analyse information that is not yet suited for this becuase it needs some tinkering and adjustments. Cleaning up this information with Power Query will save you a ton of time. Anyone who wishes to process information in Excel will benefit greatly from this training.
Retrieving external information in Excel has changed and improved radically since the arrival of Power Query. If your daily activities include retrieving and importing data, cleaning up this data, merging this data in a consolidated file, VLOOKUP() to combine this data with other tables and/or create macros to streamline these processes, then this Power Query training is definitely suited for you.
In order to be able to follow this Excel Power Query training, you should have decent knowledge of the Microsoft Excel software. You should at least be able to perform the topics covered in the training Excel Expert – Formulas & Functions (level 3) ), preferably even those from the training Excel Master – External information and Macros (level 4)
Course content Excel Power Query
The certified Excel trainers of Westhaghe Training & Advies developed the training programme for the Power Query training. This training covers various topics, such as the following:
- Short introduction of Power Query
- Load, add and convert a query
- Combine tables with information in an Excel file into a single table
- Introduction to the language M
- Power Query formulas
- Degroup grouped information
- Convert a query into a function
- Import .TXT without separator
We offer this Power Query training via our open schedule at our locations in Amsterdam, Eindhoven, Rotterdam and Utrecht. However, the standard language of these courses will be Dutch, so we should ask the other participants if they are okay with doing it in English.
