Deze vijfdaagse cursus is bedoeld om netwerkbeheerders en -technici vertrouwd te maken met de basiskennis en -vaardigheden voor het onderhouden van een serviceprovider-netwerk.
In de cursus wordt ingegaan op de belangrijkste onderdelen van een netwerk en op de manier waarop een serviceprovider-netwerk functioneert. De cursus geeft een inleiding in de IP Next-Generation Network-architectuur (IP NGN) waarmee serviceproviders moderne, schaalbare en betrouwbare netwerken kunnen opzetten.
De cursus bestaat ook uit klassikale lessen met labs op afstand, die nuttig zijn voor het aanleren van praktische vaardigheden rondom de implementatie van fundamentele Cisco IOS-, IOS XE- en Cisco IOS XT-softwarefuncties voor het beheren en onderhouden van een serviceprovider-netwerk.
